Contract | Days | 8-hour shifts (varied start times between 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday–Friday with possible weekend rotation) | Inpatient Acute Care

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services across inpatient acute care units including med/surg, telemetry, ICU, and oncology
• Deliver therapy to a diverse patient population including post-surgical, orthopedic, total joint, cardiac surgery, and ventilated ICU patients
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including hospitalists, intensivists, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy
• Document patient care and treatment progress using Cerner EMR
• Participate in weekend rotation as needed, with a compensatory weekday off when a weekend shift is worked
• Work all required holidays in accordance with facility staffing policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) state license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
• Experience treating orthopedic and total joint replacement patients
• Experience providing therapy to ICU patients, including those on mechanical ventilation
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac surgery and cardiology patient populations
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
• Background working in oncology or mixed acute care settings
