Contract | Days | 5x8 Hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 72 Guaranteed Hours per 2-Week Period

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services across a largely outpatient pediatric population, with additional coverage of inpatient, swing bed, long-term care (LTC), and outpatient settings
• Perform standardized assessments, developmental testing, and treatment for patients with acute and chronic disorders
• Support functional activities and apply feeding techniques including oral/motor approaches
• Conduct disability sequence testing and contribute to national patient safety goals and core measures
• Accurately document and bill for services rendered, including experience with electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
• Transition fluidly between inpatient, outpatient, and LTC environments to meet departmental needs

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist state license (pending license accepted; estimated 10–12 weeks processing time)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience with acute disorder, chronic disorder, and functional activity treatment
• Proficiency in standardized assessments and developmental testing/treatment
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior pediatric and inpatient occupational therapy experience strongly preferred
• Experience with outpatient, acute care, and LTC/SNF settings
• Familiarity with national patient safety goals, core measures, billing, and oral/motor feeding techniques
• Experience with Epic electronic health records charting
