Job Title
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location
Greensboro, NC
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients across varying acuity levels
- Work rotating weekend shifts (2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6-week schedule)
- Participate in holiday coverage as needed
- Float to alternate facility campuses within the health system as required
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in hand required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted)
- Must be able to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam as part of compliance requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications preferred
- Previous Charge RN experience preferred
- Level 2 Trauma experience preferred
