Registered Nurse – NICU
Location
Bowling Green, KY
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 NICU setting during night shift hours
- Care for patients ranging from Level 1 Well Baby through Level 3 NICU acuity
- Float to Well Baby nursery and assist with deliveries as needed to meet facility staffing needs
- Adhere to patient ratios of 1–3 patients per nurse depending on acuity
- Participate in on-call requirements as assigned by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kentucky RN license or active Compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience
- At least one previously completed travel nursing assignment required
- Active BLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications required (AHA certifications only accepted)
- Flu vaccine required — no exemptions accepted
- Availability to work weekends as required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Mother-Baby and Postpartum nursing experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
