Job Title

Travel Physical Therapist – Inpatient Rehab

Location

Augusta, Georgia

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct physical therapy services to patients in a 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, managing a caseload of 4–6 patients and treating an average of 3–4 patients per day
Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including hi-low mats, NuStep, parallel bars, steps, weights, car simulator, Bioness L200 and H300, and the BITS interactive computer system
Perform wound care procedures as required on the unit
Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the Meditech documentation system
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapy techs to support patient recovery and mobility goals

Required Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license (PT) in good standing
Minimum of 1–2 years of physical therapy experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
Ability to adhere to dress code requirements: black scrubs and closed-toe shoes

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with the Care Tool assessment instrument
Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems
Background in wound care within a rehabilitation or acute care environment
