Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 13 Weeks with Possible Extension

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with an Oncology and Vascular Access focus
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including sinus rhythms, heart blocks, lethal rhythms, atrial rhythms, junctional rhythms, and pacing
• Perform IV starts and maintain vascular access as required by patient care needs
• Manage a patient assignment of up to 1:7 ratio during night shift hours
• Float within the unit as needed; availability required for weekdays, every other weekend, and holidays within the contract period
• Complete required pre-start orientation modules prior to first day

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission; no exceptions
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• EPIC proficiency required — no exceptions
• Demonstrated skills in IV insertion and telemetry interpretation
• Must pass a facility EKG/telemetry written test with a score of 80% or higher prior to orientation (one attempt; no remediation offered)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience in Oncology, Medical Surgical, or Vascular Access nursing settings
