Travel RN – CCU / ICU (Night Shift)
Location
Bowling Green, Kentucky
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit with patient ratios of 2:1, occasionally 3:1
- Operate and monitor advanced equipment including Impella, GE monitors, temporary pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring devices
- Assist with and support procedures performed on the unit including central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Participate in float rotation in alignment with core staffing policies
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU/CCU experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
- Proficiency with critical thinking and ability to work in a self-motivated manner
- Compliance with dress code: scrubs in any color (no denim, capris, or camouflage)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PALS certification
- Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
- Familiarity with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and mechanical circulatory support devices
