Job Title

Travel Occupational Therapist

Location

Independence, Missouri

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 12-Week Assignment | 1 weekend every 6 weeks with flex weekday off when working weekends

Key Responsibilities

Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatments on an inpatient rehabilitation unit
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility
Utilize rehab gym equipment and standard rehabilitation supplies in the delivery of patient care
Document patient care and progress using Meditech EMR
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across a 16-bed inpatient rehab unit within a Level 2 Trauma Center

Required Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
Ability to maintain patient ratios of 4–5:1 in a rehab setting
Compliance with facility dress code (eggplant-colored scrubs required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation settings
Familiarity with Meditech EMR
