Job Title

Travel RN – MSICU (Nights)

Plano, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a combined CCU and Burn Trauma ICU setting with a 2:1 patient ratio
Perform and assist with advanced bedside procedures including central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomies, and chest tube insertions
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the Meditech electronic documentation system
Collaborate with supervisors, PCTs, and the interdisciplinary team present on every shift
Adhere to unit scheduling requirements including every-other-weekend rotation and float assignments as needed

Required Qualifications

Active, unrestricted RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
Minimum 2 years of ICU/CCU specialty experience
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
CCRN or TCRN specialty certification
