Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Perioperative)

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM); potential for 4x10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across all areas of the surgery department including Pre-Op, Post-Op, Circulating, PACU, and Endoscopy
• Float between units based on departmental needs within the surgical services area
• Support a two-room OR covering specialties including OB/GYN, Orthopedics, GI/General Surgery, ENT, Pain, and Dental
• Maintain appropriate patient ratios (1:1, 1:2, or 1:4) depending on unit assignment
• Participate in on-call coverage including variable weekend and night call (approximately 8 shifts per month)
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Valid Montana RN license or active Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of perioperative or OR nursing experience
• Ability to circulate and function in Pre/Post-Op, PACU, and Endoscopy settings
• Willingness to float within the facility as needed
• Availability for every 3rd or 4th weekend rotation and variable on-call shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic EMR
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties including Orthopedics, OB/GYN, and Endoscopy
• Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting
