Job Title

RN - Emergency Room

Location

Refugio, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 4 days on / 4 days off | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an Emergency Room setting with an average census of 5–10 patients
Deliver nursing care in a Med Surg capacity at a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans across both ER and Med Surg environments
Respond to emergent and urgent patient needs, initiating appropriate interventions in a timely manner
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Demonstrated experience in both Emergency Room and Med Surg nursing
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current PALS certification
Current TNCC certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

Comfort and proficiency working in a dual-role ER and Med Surg environment
Experience in a small or critical access hospital setting
