Registered Nurse – Oncology

Location

Charlottesville, VA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (8:00–18:30 or 9:00–19:30) or 4x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30) | Every 4th Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in an oncology infusion setting
  • Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments in accordance with established protocols
  • Monitor and assess patients receiving infusion therapies, including cellular therapies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic electronic health records
  • Float to local infusion centers as needed within scope of practice

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted at time of submission; must be in-hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card required
  • Epic electronic health records experience required
  • Willingness to float within scope of practice as needed
  • References required; copy of all required certifications must be submitted with application

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with cellular therapies, including stem cell transplant and CAR-T therapy
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
