Registered Nurse – Oncology

Location

Charlottesville, VA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 4x12 Hours (7:00–19:30) | Every 4th Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in an oncology setting, including administration of chemotherapy and biotherapy
  • Monitor and assess patients receiving infusion therapies, ensuring safety and clinical best practices
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
  • Float to local infusion center locations as needed within scope of practice

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or Virginia RN license pending (must be in-hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card (copy required at time of submission)
  • Epic EMR experience
  • Nursys verification required at time of submittal
  • BSN preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with cellular therapies, including stem cell transplant and CAR-T therapy
  • Prior experience in an outpatient or inpatient oncology infusion setting
