Job Title
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Location
Boone, NC
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery
- Manage postpartum patient care and recovery
- Care for well newborns as needed
- Float within the hospital as required
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse state license (multi-state license preferred; pending licensure with clear ETA considered)
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Recent experience with EPIC EMR
- Experience in Labor and Delivery, postpartum, and well-baby care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Current PALS certification through the American Heart Association
- Prior travel nursing experience
