Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical, Nights

Location

Dothan, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure positive patient outcomes
Monitor and document patient status, changes in condition, and responses to treatment
Adhere to facility protocols, policies, and safety standards throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Alabama
Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current NIHSS certification
Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
Ability to adapt quickly to new facility environments, workflows, and electronic medical record systems
