Job Title

Occupational Therapist - Skilled/LTC

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide hands-on therapy in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records
Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques to support continued care and safety
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations

Required Qualifications

Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of New Mexico
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
BLS certification
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care setting
Familiarity with skilled nursing facility documentation and compliance standards
