Travel RN – NICU | Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13 Weeks | Projected Start: June 22, 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a 42-bed Neonatal ICU serving Level 2 and Level 3 patients
  • Maintain patient ratios of 1–3 patients per nurse for Level 3 acuity and 3–4 patients per nurse for Level 2 acuity
  • Operate and monitor specialized equipment including isolettes, OMNI beds, and phototherapy units
  • Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems
  • Perform IV starts and assist with or perform PICC insertions as a trained clinician
  • Float to the newborn nursery as needed and fulfill weekend shift requirements (minimum 4 per schedule)

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification — required; candidates without will not be considered
  • Minimum 1 year of NICU experience
  • Ability to work night shifts and participate in on-call rotation as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • STABLE program certification
  • Experience with central lines including UAC, UVC, Broviacs, and PICC lines
  • Self-motivated team player with strong collaborative skills
