Key Responsibilities

• Perform ADL evaluations and provide occupational therapy treatments across adult and pediatric acute inpatient, ICU, and inpatient rehabilitation settings
• Conduct approximately 9 evaluations and 16 treatments per day
• Document clinical findings and justification for next level of care in accordance with facility standards
• Cover a broad range of specialty areas including trauma, neuro, ortho, oncology, general med/surg, stroke specialty, and pediatric and adult inpatient rehab programs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including rehab aides and COTAs
• Adhere to assigned scheduling, including weekend and holiday rotations with core staff

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Occupational Therapist (OT) state license (must be obtained prior to credentialing deadline)
• Experience with ADL evaluation and documentation in an acute care or inpatient rehabilitation environment
• Ability to work across adult and pediatric populations including ICU, trauma, neuro, ortho, oncology, and stroke programs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated flexibility and ability to cover multiple specialty areas as needed
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level 2 trauma center or primary stroke center environment
• Experience working within a same-day discharge joint program or pediatric inpatient rehab program
• Familiarity with high-volume therapy departments
