Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 – 19:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
• Float to additional units as needed, including NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical/surgical; appropriate assignments will be provided based on competency
• Comply with facility float expectations and unit-specific protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio State RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience (recent Level 1 experience required)
• Willingness and ability to float to multiple units as directed
• 2 supervisory references required at time of submittal; at least one reference must hold a manager or supervisor title
• Must not have worked permanently at the facility within the past 2 years
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility (no local candidates)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Closer to 3 years of PICU experience for first-time travelers
• Prior experience in a Level 1 pediatric or children's hospital environment
