MRI Technologist – Float Tech (Radiology/Cardiology)
Location
Charleston, SC
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday | Hours may vary based on coverage needs | Holidays required if they fall on a scheduled shift
Key Responsibilities
- Float between multiple buildings and departments to provide MRI technologist coverage as needed
- Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with facility protocols and patient care standards
- Adapt to varying daily caseloads and shift coverage requirements based on departmental needs
- Operate Siemens MRI equipment and document patient information using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November) if required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience
- Active BLS certification required
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including varied shift times based on coverage needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level 1 Trauma center experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience working in a Magnet-designated or teaching hospital environment
