Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics inpatient unit serving all ages over 28 days
• Manage a patient population with common diagnoses including trauma and post-operative Orthopedic and Neurological conditions, as well as general Pediatric cases
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6 in a 24-bed unit setting
• Document and manage patient records using Paragon/Cerner EHR systems
• Float to other inpatient units as needed
• Work 3 weekends every 6 weeks as part of the regular schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2+ years of adult Med/Surg nursing experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Current BLS certification
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of Pediatric nursing experience
• PALS certification
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center environment
• Strong teamwork and collaborative approach to patient care
