Job Title

Registered Nurse – NICU (Travel)

Location

Missoula, Montana

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 NICU setting with varying patient ratios (1:1, 2:1, or 3:1)
Monitor, assess, and respond to the needs of neonatal patients in a 34-bed unit
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team within a teaching hospital environment
Adhere to unit protocols, safety standards, and Joint Commission accreditation requirements
Float within the designated service area as required by unit staffing needs

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Minimum 1–2 years of NICU experience
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced neonatal care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a Level 3 NICU or high-acuity neonatal setting
Familiarity with transport coordination or interfacility neonatal transport protocols
