Registered Nurse – NICU (Travel Contract)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 NICU setting with varying patient ratios (1:1, 2:1, or 3:1) depending on acuity
- Monitor and assess neonatal patients, implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Operate and manage specialized NICU equipment in support of neonatal patient needs
- Adhere to unit protocols within a Joint Commission Accredited, teaching hospital environment
- Float within the required service area as needed per unit staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Minimum 1–2 years of NICU nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced neonatal care environment
- Willingness to float within a 25-mile radius of the primary facility as required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level 3 NICU environment
- Familiarity with neonatal transport protocols or experience in a facility partnered with air transport services
- Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU or pediatric setting
