Contract | Days | 13 Weeks | Monday–Friday (Monday: 8am–7pm, Tuesday: 8am–12pm, Wednesday: 8am–7pm, Thursday: 8am–7pm, Friday: 9am–4pm) | Onsite | Float position covering up to 2 additional locations within the market

Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Perform 60-minute evaluations and treatments; progress patients toward discharge within an established length of stay
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients; ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill continuing education requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Florida in good standing
• Ability to complete comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Proficiency in medical record documentation compliant with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Commitment to patient and employee safety standards including safe patient handling and infection control practices
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience
• Experience in an outpatient clinic setting with demonstrated ability to manage a full patient caseload
