Job Title

MRI Technologist (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients of all ages
Verify physician orders, prep patients for exams, and explain procedures and instructions to patients as appropriate
Perform all MRI studies and administer contrast media utilizing age-related technical and positioning protocols in accordance with department policy
Evaluate MRI images for technical quality and assist radiologists with MR procedures as requested
Operate and maintain MRI and associated equipment, including warm-up, calibration, and safety checks; report equipment malfunctions to supervisor
Adhere to MRI safety standards and maintain compliance with ARRT standards

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent GE MRI experience (required)
ARRT Certification (required; ARMRIT will not be considered)
BLS Certification (required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working in a high-volume or acute care imaging environment
Familiarity with hospital computer systems and radiology information systems
