Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Location

Richlands, Virginia

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
Float to Nursery and Post-Partum units as census and staffing needs require
Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
Deliver care in a Level 3 OB unit utilizing Meditech EHR and standard OB equipment
Adhere to patient ratios and unit protocols in accordance with established clinical guidelines

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Virginia or compact state eligibility
Minimum 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Intermediate fetal monitoring certification or above; STABLE certification required for Nursery assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in both Labor & Delivery and Nursery care settings
Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system
Comfort working in a lower-volume OB unit with a collaborative, flexible team environment
