Job Title

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location

West Palm Beach, Florida

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to adult and geriatric rehabilitation patients
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
Provide care and communication strategies for patients with dementia and cognitive-communication disorders

Required Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility
Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in a subacute, SNF, or geriatric rehabilitation environment
Experience providing care to patients with dementia and related cognitive-communication impairments
