Job Title

Occupational Therapist (OT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) Travel

Location

Chandler, Arizona

Key Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to adult inpatient rehabilitation patients across a range of diagnoses including neurological conditions, stroke, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, amputations, and orthopedic conditions
Oversee a caseload of approximately 9 patients, participating in team conferences and coordinating interdisciplinary care
Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including In-Motion, Synaptic, EKSO, and VR technology in treatment sessions
Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately using UDS and Cerner electronic health record systems
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to establish individualized patient goals and facilitate safe transitions back to home and community
Float to a nearby facility location as needed based on census demands

Required Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience with adult patient populations
Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF), or acute care setting
Proficiency or ability to learn Cerner and UDS electronic health record platforms
Ability to participate in weekend coverage rotation (one shift per month)

Preferred Experience / Skills

2–3 years of experience in an IRF or acute rehabilitation environment
Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation technologies such as EKSO exoskeleton or virtual reality therapy tools
Experience treating neurological, stroke, or spinal cord injury patient populations in an inpatient setting
