Travel RN – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (7P–7A)

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit serving patients of all ages
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Utilize Cerner EHR to document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Fulfill weekend rotation requirements on an every-other or as-needed basis
• Float to other units and fulfill call requirements as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid to practice in North Carolina
• Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry (MST) nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (required prior to start)
• Current CPI, HWC, or MAB certification (required prior to start)
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification (required prior to start)
• Must meet travel eligibility requirements (60 miles or greater from facility)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Demonstrated professional demeanor and adaptability in a fast-paced acute care environment
