Key Responsibilities

  • Screen, evaluate, and treat patients in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
  • Deliver direct physical therapy services focused on restoring patient function and mobility
  • Document all services accurately and in a timely manner
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians in accordance with applicable practice acts
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and patient families while maintaining compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
  • Active state Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient populations
