OR RN – General Surgery

Contract | Rotating Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing a variety of general surgery procedures
Function across all surgical specialties supported by the general OR team, excluding Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgery
Rotate across varying shift times, including day, evening, and extended shifts
Fulfill on-call requirements, including one weekday of call per week and portions of one to two weekends within a six-week schedule
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no restrictions or license hits
Operating Room nursing experience across multiple surgical specialties
Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
Ability to work rotating shifts and fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
Broad surgical scrub and circulating experience across general OR specialties
