Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Coos Bay, OR

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Apply the nursing process to the care of patients within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
Teach patients and significant others regarding care, treatment, and health management
Accurately document patient care in the medical record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall patient care

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required
Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years required
Active or willingness to obtain Oregon RN license prior to start
BLS certification (AHA) required or willingness to obtain
ACLS certification (AHA) required or willingness to obtain
TNCC and PALS (AHA) certifications required or willingness to obtain

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a high-volume or Level II emergency department setting
Familiarity with pediatric emergency care
