Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Contract | Rotating Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply the nursing process to the care of patients within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
  • Teach patients and significant others regarding care, treatment, and health management
  • Accurately document patient care in the medical record
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall patient care

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required
  • Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years required
  • Active or willingness to obtain Oregon RN license prior to start
  • BLS certification (AHA) required or willingness to obtain
  • ACLS certification (AHA) required or willingness to obtain
  • TNCC and PALS (AHA) certifications required or willingness to obtain

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience in a high-volume or Level II emergency department setting
  • Familiarity with pediatric emergency care
