Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver quality patient care
• Participate in required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of combined permanent specialty experience obtained within a single location
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• Demonstrated ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments
