Description

Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

Location

Scranton, Pennsylvania

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting with a standard patient ratio of 2:1 and a surge plan of up to 3:1
Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients throughout the night shift in a 20-bed unit
Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner EMR
Float to Telemetry unit as required based on facility needs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
Current ACLS certification required
Ability to float to Telemetry unit as needed
Availability for every other weekend and every other holiday scheduling

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Cerner EMR
Open Heart surgery experience
Impella device experience
