Job Title

Operating Room (OR) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Location

Shawnee Mission, KS

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting throughout the perioperative process
Assist surgical teams by preparing and maintaining a sterile field and ensuring proper instrumentation is available
Monitor and assess patient condition before, during, and after surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure safe and efficient surgical outcomes
Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas or compact licensure eligibility
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum of 1–2 years of operating room nursing experience
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced surgical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience in an OR setting
Familiarity with a wide range of surgical specialties and procedures
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
