Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Battle Creek, MI
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care across all areas of an LDRP unit, including antepartum, labor and delivery, and couplet care
- Perform OR circulating and scrub nurse duties as needed within the unit
- Serve as newborn nurse at delivery, including performing lab draws and newborn infant hearing screens
- Conduct fetal heart monitoring (FHM) triage in accordance with AWHONN staffing guidelines
- Float to other areas of the facility as a sitter when needed, and to an additional regional site when census allows
- Adhere to holiday coverage requirements with flexibility to accommodate staffing demands
Required Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in OB, Mother/Baby, and Labor and Delivery
- Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NRP certifications
- AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM certification
- Proficiency in circulating and FHM triage
- Experience with EPIC EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AWHONN Advanced certification
- Scrub nurse experience
