Contract | Full-Time | Days | Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and report changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting
- Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- Prior telemetry monitoring experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
