Job Title

Travel IR RN – Cat Scan / Radiology

Location

Houston, Texas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care within an Interventional Radiology (IR) unit, including pre- and post-procedure monitoring
Assist with and support procedures including biopsies, ablations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
Operate and utilize CT scan and related radiology equipment in accordance with unit protocols
Document patient information and care accurately using the Meditech Expanse EMR system
Collaborate with a small unit team and take initiative in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or through Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
Emergency Department (ED) experience required
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience required
Proficiency with Meditech Expanse or comparable EMR platform

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in an Interventional Radiology or procedural nursing setting
Familiarity with CT scan operations and imaging-guided procedure support
