RN - Med/Surg/Tele - Resource Pool
Location
Des Moines, IA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg and Telemetry setting as part of a resource pool
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Perform nursing assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
- Flex across units as needed to meet staffing demands within the resource pool
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Med/Surg and/or Telemetry nursing
- Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a float pool or resource pool environment
- ACLS certification
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
