Job Title

RN - Labor & Delivery

Location

Bastrop, LA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM | 5/2 Schedule

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients throughout the Labor & Delivery unit
Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status during labor using OBIX fetal monitoring system
Document patient care and clinical data accurately using MedHost EMR
Collaborate with LPN staff who support OB and Nursery areas connected to the unit
Support a unit averaging approximately 15–25 deliveries per month

Required Qualifications

Active Louisiana RN license or multistate compact license required at time of submission
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of submission
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of submission
AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required at time of submission
AWHONN certification required at time of submission
Prior Labor & Delivery RN experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

Familiarity with OBIX fetal monitoring software
Experience with MedHost EMR
