Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Ortho/Neuro/Peds)

Thomasville, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical floor with an Orthopedic, Neurological, and Pediatric patient population
Perform IV starts and manage intermediate-level patient monitoring
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Complete required pre-start onboarding modules via HealthStream prior to assignment start

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; candidates without a license will not be considered
Minimum of one (1) year of recent Medical Surgical experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Proficiency in intermediate-level patient monitoring and IV starts
Must reside more than 30 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate; candidates within 31–50 miles will be accepted at a local rate
Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Familiarity with HealthStream for module completion
