PET Technologist – Nuclear Medicine
Location
Charleston, SC
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 5x8-hour shifts | Varying start times between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM | Occasional Saturday shifts based on unit need
Key Responsibilities
- Perform PET/CT scans in accordance with departmental protocols and patient care standards
- Operate and maintain Siemens PET/CT imaging equipment
- Ensure proper radiation safety practices are followed throughout all procedures
- Document and chart patient imaging data accurately using Epic
- Collaborate with the radiology and cardiology team to support efficient departmental workflow
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of PET/CT technologist experience
- Active BLS certification
- NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certification required
- NMTCB(CT), ARRT(R), or ARRT(CT) certification required
- South Carolina SCRQSA state license in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography required
- Radiation badge required — must be supplied by the staffing agency prior to assignment start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma facility
- Hands-on experience with Siemens imaging equipment
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
