Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Ortho Trauma Unit)

Location

Lewisville, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Ortho Trauma / Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
Operate and monitor Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn vital signs machines
Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Perform ambulation of patients and wound care as needed
Collaborate with a team of RNs, LVNs, and PCTs across night shift
Float to sister units such as Surgical Telemetry or Inpatient Rehab as needed

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Charge nurse experience
Preceptor experience
