Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 5 x 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50 patient visits per week across adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups
- Perform Gross Motor Assessments and Fall Risk Assessments
- Provide evaluation and treatment for a broad range of orthopedic conditions including total joint replacement, rotator cuff repair, disc herniation, generalized low back pain, ACL tear, and more
- Deliver both post-operative care and non-surgical interventions for musculoskeletal and orthopedic diagnoses
- Document patient care accurately using the NextGen electronic health records system
- Adhere to a business casual dress code in a clinical outpatient setting
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (new graduates welcome to apply)
- Active or eligible Physical Therapist licensure in the state of North Carolina
- Ability to treat patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
- Competency in evaluating and treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions
- Ability to maintain a caseload of 50 visits per week
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience or clinical exposure with post-operative orthopedic care including total joint replacement and rotator cuff repair
- Familiarity with NextGen electronic health records system
- Experience performing Fall Risk and Gross Motor Assessments
