Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement plans of medical care while ensuring nursing care is delivered in a safe and competent manner
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects
• Record and maintain accurate patient medical information, vital signs, and detailed reports
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Knowledge of principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive patient information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical nursing environment
• Familiarity with age-specific care considerations across respective patient populations
