Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Kalamazoo, MI

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
  • Deliver nursing care during night shift hours, including every other weekend and holidays as required by the unit
  • Participate in shift report, clocked in and ready at the start of the assigned shift
  • Complete required non-billable orientation and annual modules on a self-reported basis
  • Adhere to facility compliance standards, background policies, and vaccination requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • PALS certification (American Heart Association)
  • TNCC certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience preferred
  • Level 1 Trauma experience strongly recommended
  • ENPC, NIH, and/or CPI certifications preferred
