Job Title

Emergency Department Registered Nurse (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting during night shift hours
Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical changes in the medical record

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Illinois or compact licensure eligibility
Current BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
Minimum of 1–2 years of emergency department nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

TNCC or ENPC certification preferred
Experience working in a critical access or rural emergency department setting
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
