Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and monitor condition trends throughout the hospital stay
Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications including IV therapies, and manage wound care or specialized equipment
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on post-surgery care, medication schedules, and post-discharge instructions
Recognize early signs of medical deterioration and take swift action to stabilize patients before emergencies escalate

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience (required)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
