Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
- Deliver direct patient care in a Med Surg / Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU / Step-Down) setting during night shift hours
- Utilize EPIC EMR to document and manage patient information accurately and efficiently
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
- May be required to float to the Emergency Department
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum of 2 years of Step-Down / PCU / IMC experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Valid Driver's License required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Comfort and flexibility with floating to the Emergency Department
- First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
