Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 14-Week Assignment | 30 Hours Guaranteed Per Week

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding treatment strategies

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington, DC
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract commitment

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare facility setting
  • Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment
